Nic Canaday
Nic Canaday is the Principal and Founder of Canaday Construction LLC, bringing more than fourteen years of progressive construction experience and a strong field-driven approach to project leadership. Nic began his construction career in 2012, progressing through the union apprenticeship program, into foreman, and construction management roles.
Throughout his career, Nic has managed complex construction projects across commercial, institutional, laboratory, educational, and high-end residential markets. Nic’s experience includes structural and interior framing, steel construction, building envelope systems, specialty laboratories, clean-room construction, MEP coordination, interior finishes, scheduling, safety, and overall project execution.
As the founder of Canaday Construction, Nic combines hands-on construction expertise, practical problem solving, disciplined project management, and a commitment to quality and safety. His goal is to build a construction company that provides clients with direct leadership, clear communication, dependable execution, and high-quality craftsmanship from preconstruction through completion

Scott Hoerauf
Scott Hoerauf serves as the General Manager of Canaday Construction, bringing more than 25 years of construction leadership experience across virtually every major sector of the construction industry. Throughout his career, Scott has successfully led projects from preconstruction through completion, providing strategic oversight in operations, procurement, scheduling, quality control, and client relations.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and practical problem-solving approach, Scott is passionate about building strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project teams. He believes successful projects are built on open communication, accountability, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship throughout every phase of construction.
As General Manager of Canaday Construction, Scott is responsible for overseeing the company's daily operations, business development, project execution, and long-term strategic growth.
